Yes. A sea trial and independent survey are standard parts of the buying process for pre-owned yachts, and we strongly recommend both. AZ Hellas can coordinate the logistics on your behalf and provide technical support throughout, while you retain full right to withdraw if the survey reveals significant issues.

Beyond the purchase price, plan for VAT at 24% if not already settled, legal and registration fees typically around 1 to 2%, survey and sea trial costs, any immediate maintenance or refit work identified during inspection, and the first year's operational costs — mooring, insurance, servicing and TEPAI cruising tax.
